DESCRIPTION INFORMATION: Original collection inventory list prepared by Benson Ford Research Center staff, January 2011, and published in January 2011. Finding aid written by Benson Ford Research Center staff, January 2011, and published in January 2011. Updated by Janice Unger in October 2019. Finding aid prepared using Describing Archives: A Content Standard (DACS) and local guidelines. Page 3 of 38 Source: http://www.doksinet Research Center Recipe Booklet Collection, 1852-2006 Accession RC.24 SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE This is a collection of small booklets and pamphlets containing recipes for food preparation. The booklets were published by a variety of sources. Some were commercially produced collections of recipes in booklet form; other were produced in conjunction with a particular company’s food product literature or in

serial form. More substantial cookbook volumes have been cataloged as books and are available in the library. Recipes provided in conjunction with product information for household appliances and cookware are available in the trade catalog collection. In these instances, the recipes are considered incidental to the information provided on the cookware or appliance, so that they are treated as trade literature rather than recipe booklets. The items are arranged in chronological order, then alphabetized by title within each year.
