This report determined the number of affiliates, the rise in salary, and annual salaries paid to the affiliate CEOs and Planned Parenthood’s corporate employees. Background: Planned Parenthood’s headquarters is the Planned Parenthood Federation of America in New York City. The headquarters manages and oversees the affiliate branches of Planned Parenthood PPFA itself does not run any clinics. They oversee its affiliates, which operate
clinics and educational centers. The affiliates of PPFA are each independent corporations that pay PPFA to use their name and must abide by operating rules established by PPFA. The CEOs of the affiliates oversee the delivery of services and the general operation of facilities under their jurisdiction. Methodology: This research was conducted in May and June, 2015. The research and report were done by Rob Gasper and Katie Brown. All data was obtained from public information All facts were found from the federal forms 990, public articles, and Planned Parenthood websites. In reviewing data from the Form 990s, it was found that only 14 of the 62 affiliates had filed forms that reflected 2014 salaries. Therefore, all salaries quoted in this report are from 2013 Planned Parenthood Federation of America, on the other hand, had filed their 2014 Form 990 and all the numbers for the “Corporate employees” are from 2014. Results of research • Planned Parenthood Federation of America
reported on the salaries of 12 of its highest paid employees in IRS Form 990.
